Vice President Pun attends 69th Anniversary of the founding of China

Kathmandu, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has attended a reception organized on the occasion of the 69th Anniversary of the founding of China on Friday evening.
The ceremony organized by Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong, was attended by the members of the Council of Ministers, members of federal parliament, former Prime Ministers, former Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and chiefs of the constitutional bodies.
Also making their presence in the event were the heads of the foreign diplomatic missions in Nepal, senior officials of the government, representatives from the business community, media fraternity and Chinese diaspora in Kathmandu, among others.
On the occasion, Chinese envoy Yu talked about the stride China made in the social and economic sectors in the past 69 years.
Stating that the diplomatic relations established between China and Nepal 63 years ago and time since then has reached the bilateral relations between the two countries to a new height.
The Chinese envoy asserted, “China, which has been extending cooperation on the basis of equality, mutual benefits and respect, has been extending its continuous support to Nepal in the sector of physical infrastructure, energy, information and technology, agriculture, education, culture, tourism, and civil aviation, among others.
